MilkySEO ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website milkyseo.com and the SEO tools available on it. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding your personal information.

We've written this policy to be read, not to be scrolled past. If something is unclear, email us at privacy@milkyseo.com.

By using MilkySEO, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

For unregistered users (free tools):

• Server logs — IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. Retained for up to 30 days for security and operational monitoring.
• Tool usage signals — which tools are used and when, without any link to personal identity. Used to improve tool performance and prioritize new features.

We do not collect or store:

• URLs you analyze in our tools
• Content you paste into tool inputs
• Analysis results from your sessions

For registered users (when accounts launch): We will also collect your name, email address, encrypted password (or OAuth token if using social sign-in), and any saved analysis history associated with your account. This section will be updated before account creation goes live.

We use a minimal set of cookies:

• Session cookies — temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser. Used for basic site functionality.
• Authentication cookies — stored when you sign in to an account. Used to keep you logged in across sessions.
• Preference cookies — if you set any interface preferences (e.g. display settings), we may store these locally.

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies that share data with advertising networks. We may use a privacy-first analytics tool (such as Plausible or Umami) that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

Data we collect is used exclusively to:

• Operate and improve the MilkySEO platform and tools
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents
• Respond to support requests and feedback
• Send service-related communications (if you have an account)
• Analyze aggregate usage patterns to guide product development

We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to build behavioral profiles for external services.

MilkySEO is hosted on a VPS infrastructure. When your browser makes a request to our servers, standard networking data is processed by our hosting provider.

When paid plans launch, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment provider (such as Stripe). We will not store your full payment card details — only what the payment provider returns to us (e.g. a token, last four digits, card type).

We will update this section with a full list of sub-processors when applicable.

• Server logs: Retained for up to 30 days, then deleted or anonymized.
• Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Saved analysis history: Retained until you delete it or your account is closed.

Tool session data (URLs analyzed, content pasted) is not retained beyond the immediate request lifecycle.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected.
• Deletion — request that your personal data be deleted ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain types of processing.

MilkySEO is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately at privacy@milkyseo.com and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform evolves. We will notify registered users of material changes via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of MilkySEO after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with changes, you may delete your account or stop using the service.
